9 Ways To Do Affiliate Marketing Without a Website

If you clicked on this post, chances are you want to learn how to do affiliate marketing, however, you do not have a blog or a website- and you don’t want to go through all that tediousness of creating your website and building it out.

Well, in this post, I am going to show you several ways to succeed with affiliate marketing without a website or blog.

When doing affiliate marketing there are basically two thing you need to do:

Part 1. Find Products to Recommend By signing up for an affiliate service

Part 2. Get visitors to check it out and purchase

This is what’s making affiliate marketing so beginner-friendly. You don’t need to handle customer service, shipping, or refunds. And you don’t need a website to succeed. If you already have a niche and a product to promote, then feel free to skip to step number two. If you’re brand new to affiliate marketing then keep reading.

Find Products to Promote By Signing up For An Affiliate Network

If you do not know what affiliate marketing is, it’s basically a business model where you don’t have to create the product yourself, you do not have to do all that hard work that comes with running a business. You can just partner up with a company and promote their products. Everytime you generate a sale, you’ll get a commission in return. It’s very simple.

Now, where can you find products to promote? Well, there are numerous affiliate sites out there, but among them are my top three:

1. ClickBank.com

So, the first place you’re going to find a product to recommend is Clickbank. It is free to create an account with Clickbank, by using this link: https://www.clickbank.com/ and it should take you about 5 minutes creating one.

Now here is how you find a product on Clickbank:

• Once you’re on Clickbank, you can go to the side and look at the various categories they have. The category has different types of products you can find to promote. When it comes to choosing the right category, I recommend you either choose something you’re very passionate about or you choose a category related to health, wealth or relationships- these three categories are evergreen.

• If you’re just starting out, I suggest you do eBusiness because a lot of people want to make money online. This niche is great for beginners. To find products to promote, just click on the eBusiness category and a bunch of products will come up. Now simply choose a product you would like to promote.

• After clicking on the Promote tab, a window is going to open and you’re going to get your link after you click on ” Generate Hoplinks”. The Hoplink is the link you’ll start sharing with people that think might be interested in purchasing the product. When someone clicks on that link to make a purchase, you make a commission.

So, this is how you choose and promote products on Clickbank.

2. Jvzoo.com

Jvzoo is another great place to find products to promote online. Jvzoo is focused more on making money online and internet marketing products. So, if you’re not too interested in that, you can still use Clickbank. This is how you get started using Jvzoo.

• You go to Jvzoo.com and create a free account, which can be done by using this link https://www.jvzoo.com. Once you’ve created your account, you go to Affiliates and then you click on Find Products.

• Now, once the Find Product page opens up, you’ll see the names of the products on the left, and the stats in the middle- such as how long since it launched and how it has been selling. You need this data because you need to see the products that are selling well and the products that are paying well.

• Also, you want to recommend products that have sold at least 100 in a short period, because it means it is a high converting product.

• Once, you settle on the product you want to product, sometimes you’ll be required to request approval by clicking on the Request Approval button. Often you’ll get approved with no hassle. However, you also want to look at the sales page of the product. You do this by clicking on the green SEE THE SALESPAGE tab on the top of the product page.

• The sales page is the page that someone interested in the product will see to decide to buy or not. So, just go through the sales page and make sure you resonate with it.

• So, if you like the sales page and your approval gets approved, you’re just going to copy your link and share it with potential buyers.

3. ClickFunnels.com

Unlike the two mentions above, Clickfunnels isn’t an affiliate network, but an affiliate program. An affiliate network is where you can find products from multiple companies. In an affiliate program you can only promote products from that specific company. Clickfunnels is a funnel building software that allows entrepreneurs and business owners to sell their products online. Clickfunnels is a very ‘hot’ service/product at the moment, and it will become even more popular in the future.

So, how exactly do you become an Clickfunnels affiliate? You want to go to https://whatsyourdreamcar.com/. And complete the application process. It’s totally free and shouldn’t take any longer than 10 minutes to do.

After you’ve been accepted into Clickfunnels affiliate program, you’re able to promote all of their products like free books and courses. For every visitor, lead or customer you generate, they will be sticky-cookied, which means you’ll get the commission if they buy something in the future.

Clickfunnels is just one of many products/softwares you could promote. There are plenty of other services that has great affiliate programs. I chose Clickfunnels since they have high commission rates and they pay out recurring commissions to their affiliates.

So, now you have signed up to an affiliate program and you’ve chosen a product, let’s take a look at how you advertise that product to get people to buy.

How To Do Affiliate Marketing Without A Website

Now you have your product and you’ve got the affiliate link, here are a couple of ways you can share the link to earn some cash, without the need of a website or blog.

1. YouTube

I know this a no brainer to some of you, but I use YouTube all the time and I love it. The reason I love it is that with certain keywords, you can attract people that are searching for answers or information about the affiliate product you’re promoting.

One of the best ways to promote a product with YouTube is by doing a review video. What you have to realize is that people are always going to YouTube and typing in product reviews. So, let’s say there is a new camera which just got released, well, people are going to YouTube to check out the reviews made on the product. So when the person goes to type in the product review he or she wants, what happens is a list of videos come up that have been done by people giving reviews on that product. What you can do is if you have a product like a new camera, you can make a short video reviewing that camera using your smartphone or a webcam.

So, all that you do is to share your honest opinion on the product as to whether you like it or not. If you do like it, all you have to do is leave your affiliate link in the product description of the video and at the end of your video you say ” If you want to purchase this camera, click on the link below in the video description”. You want to encourage people to purchase through that link so, that you buy using your link instead of going somewhere else to purchase.

So, YouTube is the first method you can use to promote your affiliate product for free. I mean anyone can do a video and throw it up. You never know what video is going to go viral.

2. Using Instagram

A lot of people have an Instagram profile but what they do not realize is that you can start to promote products from your profile. Let’s say you have beautiful skin and you want to promote a skincare product, you can write this on your bio: If you want to have a glowing skin like mine, click the link in my bio. Trust me you’d be surprised the number of people who would click on that link to visit the link and you can potentially make sales. So, with this you do not have to have a website, you can just send this directly to the affiliate link.

Another way to use Instagram to promote affiliate links is to post a lot of pictures that relate to whatever you’re promoting. So, as said earlier if you’re promoting a skincare product, you want to post pictures of your beautiful skin, to make people assume the product is working. If you’re promoting a weight loss product you can post quotes about weight loss, pictures of people who have lost weight and stuff like that. So, with this too you can add the link of the product to your comment or the caption or you can direct people to the link in your bio as discussed above.

Another bonus tip with Instagram, it is good to use hashtags on your pictures. This is a great way to categorize your pictures and attract people. So you can use hashtags like #glowingskin #weightloss and stuff like that. When you hit 10K followers you also get the ”swipe up” feature, where you can place links in your IG stories.

 3. Using Facebook

Facebook is a gold mine because almost everyone has a Facebook account and it is free. I mean you do not have to run any paid Ads. There are two ways you can use Facebook to promote affiliate products. You can either do it on your profile, by posting videos about the product, proof of it changing people’s lives, proof of people commenting about the product and so on. I highly recommend you build a following too this way when you post, people are going to potentially see it.

However, if you do not have a lot of Facebook friends, then you use the second method by going to Facebook groups that might need your product. You can do this by going to Facebook, and clicking on Groups and typing in the name of the product that you’re advertising followed by groups. Now what’s going to happen is that a list of groups with the topic or product name you typed is going to pop up. So, what you want to do is to go through and join some of these groups that have at least 10,000 members.

So, when you go into those groups, start posting. You do not want to spam your links because people aren’t going to click on random links in most cases. However, you want to share value first- you want to teach, or post something educative, or even share tips. So, as you start to post these tips, you’d begin to build a following and gain the trust of people. As people start to recognize you in the group as someone that gives value, now you can share your links.

 4. Using Quora

So, Quora is one of the sources of free traffic just like Facebook and Instagram. However, the truth is there is high competition with the top three suggested affiliate traffic sources. However, you can explore the possibilities of Quora. This is because with Quora people are looking for answers for everything. For those of you who do not know what Quora is, it is a platform where you ask questions and experts or anyone gives you an answer. You can also go there and answer any questions.

So, what you do with Quora is after you’ve signed up, make sure you choose the subjects that relate to the affiliate product you want to promote. So, with this, if any new questions pop up, Quora will send you a notification and you can go and answer the question and also add your link to the answer.

But before you do this, I highly recommend you answer a lot of questions and also make sure your answers are good. This way you build a lot of credibility and authority. You should not be spamming people with your link. If you want to be a successful affiliate marketer and make six to seven figures, you have to know how to add value to people’s lives before sending them your link. So, with Quora, you can add value to people’s lives by providing good answers to their questions and referring them to your affiliate link if necessary.

5. Paid Advertising

Paid advertising can also be a profitable way of doing affiliate marketing. Facebook, Instagram, Google and YouTube are great platforms to advertise on, because most of your audience are here.

There are many successful affiliate marketers who uses paid advertising to generate sales.

Before you start to run ads I highly recommend you learn how to do it first. Yes, it’s a good way to generate sales, but only if you know how to do it.

I’ve seen to many people thrown away money on ads, simply just because they don’t know how to run them properly. This is truly the last thing you want.

Running ads isn’t the cheapest way of doing affiliate marketing, but it can be highly profitable if you know how to do it right.

If you’re going to run ads to promote your affiliate products, here are some helpful tips:

• Locate your targeted audience: Do your dream customers hang around on Facebook & Instagram or are they most on Google & YouTube?
• Learn how to run ads properly: Take a course about advertising where your targeted audience is located: Social media or search engines?
• Don’t link directly to you affiliate product: Putting your affiliate link directly on ads might be against the policy. Instead link to an optin page or bridge page and then send people to your affiliate product.

This will help you achieve better results with affiliate marketing when running ads.

6. Email Marketing

Email marketing is a great way to both increase your sales and automate your affiliate business. I think it should be a part of your affiliate marketing no matter what strategies you use.

When you collect emails and build your list, you create an asset in your business which can be used many years in the future. You can at any time send out an email to your hundreds or thousands of subscribers and drive traffic to new affiliate offers.

You’re also able to create an autoresponder within your email provider. This will let you send out promotional emails on autopilot, making you passive income with affiliate marketing.

7. Two Tier Affiliate Marketing

Two tier affiliate marketing is a great way to earn passive income. You basically sign up other affiliates to the affiliate program you’re in. They become your sub-affiliates, that means you’ll earn commissions from their sales.

Let’s say your sub-affiliate make a $100 sale and earns a 40% commission = $40. Then you would earn a 10% commission from that sale = $10.

This way you’ll earn a completely passive income with affiliate marketing.

Eventhough two tier afiliate marketing can be highly profitabel I wouldn’t get to excited. The fact are that 80% of the affiliates you refer will most likely never get a sale.

So my advice is to focus on your own marketing and sell products by yourself. But if you have the opportunity, sure, get some sub-affiliates under your name. It doesn’t hurt anyone.

Everything you earn from them is in fact pure profit and passive income. I think it’s worth looking in to.

8. Publishing eBooks

Publishing ebooks about several topics in your niche is another great way to generate affiliate sales. The fact that it only takes a couple of days to write an ebook is nice, because then you can create a lot of them.

You can use Canva to create your ebooks. It’s a free tool with a lot of features. I highly recommend you check it out.

Here are some tips for creating the perfect ebook:

• Dive deep into the topic you’re writing about.
• Talk to the reader (your dream customer).
• Be sure to add affiliate links where its suitable but don’t spam them. Make it look natural.
• Add pictures and infographics.
• Make it simple and easy to read.
• Make it unique to your brand.

After you’re done writing your ebook you can from it into a PDF then give it away for free. You can use a software like Clickfunnels to create an optin page. After people have opted in you give them the ebook. This way you also capture their email.

9. Bridge Funnel With Bonuses

This way of doing affiliate marketing is very universal. It works in all niches. What you want to do is create a bridge page that closes the gap between the customer and the product.

A smart thing to do if you want to explode your conversion rate is to create a bonus which you give away for free when they purchase your affiliate product. This can be a PDF, eBook, Video training etc. Think about what the customer needs after buying your product, then make it and give it away for free as a bonus.

On the bridge page you should either make a video or write a couple of paragraphs where you tell the visitor how great this product is and what it can do for them. Your sales copy need to be on point. Make it look like the product you’re promoting is the solution to their problem.

Your bridge page should also include testimonials of people telling how great the product is. Social proof is important to build trust, so don’t skip this part.

I highly recommend using Clickfunnels to build your bridge pages. It’s unbelievable easy to use. You also have the chance of creating a pop-up in Clickfunnels. You can use this to collect emails or create an exit-popup.

The Truth About Affiliate Marketing

Imagine you to the rooftop of a cinema and shouting saying ” Go watch the new Jumanji movie!!” I mean everyone at the cinema is going to be like “this person is crazy” right? And you’d probably be kicked out of the cinema too. Well, imagine a friend of you who is a movie freak comes up to you and says “hey, man have you seen the new Jumanji movie? You should go watch it” Well, I am pretty sure you will go check the movie out at the cinema.

Now, comparing the two scenarios above, from the second scenario, the only reason why you went to watch the movie was that your friend recommended it to you and you have a relationship with him. But for the first case there was no relationship, so, whatever you said made you look crazy. Well, this is the same for affiliate marketing, if you do not build trust or provide value to people first before selling them a product, you’re going to look crazy and also these sites might block you from using their sites if your spam gets reported.

So, before you send out your link to people, you have to build a relationship with people first, and how do you go about doing that? Well, it is easy, you offer them some value for free that is going to help them go down the path of solving the problem that the affiliate product ultimately solves.

So, you must have a bridge page for the products you want to promote. So,  when someone visits the bridge page through your link, it will serve two purposes. First, you will require the potential customer to enter their email in exchange for the free product and with their emails, you can send them emails with valuable information and also about new products or services you have. With the second purpose, you allow the potential customer to click through and go to check out that affiliate product. 

Trust me if you can do this you’d be making millions even if the person doesn’t purchase the product. How? Well, you have their email and you can still send them valuable content with new products. But most of the time, potential clients end up purchasing the products you promote.
