Hey! My name is Jorgen, but you can call me Joe. I’m the creator of this website.
Even though I’m no expert, I have been able to build up a passive income source online through SEO and affiliate marketing. Here’s my story…
The Epiphany
It all started in high school. I came across a video on YouTube where a guy was talking about dropshipping and running an online store. Suddenly, I realized it was possible to make money online.
I did some quick math in my head and knew right there that I would become a millionaire in the nearest future.
Well, that didn’t happen…
The epiphany was real, but so was the dopamine rushing through my veins.
I created an online store with Shopify and started dropshipping, but found out fairly quickly that this wouldn’t make me the passive income machine I was dreaming about. After two months without any sales, I quit.
It was back to the drawing board. I needed to try something else since I knew this opportunity was too good to let go. After some research, I concluded that affiliate marketing was the best business model to build up a passive income source.
This way I didn’t need to create my own product, and I didn’t have to stress about customer support and shipping like I would have with dropshipping.
Now I just needed traffic. Since I didn’t have much money in high school, paid advertising wasn’t an option. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) seemed like the way to go, but I always thought it would be too hard to learn.
That’s when I started pouring the little savings I had into blogging and SEO courses, such as Project24 and Adam Enfroy’s Blog Growth Engine. That’s where I learned how to create an affiliate marketing website.
Starting This Website
I created this website in the summer of 2019, my senior year in high school. Even though I didn’t know much about blogging or SEO, I tried my ways, and bit after bit the site came together.
The results were pretty bad at the beginning. My keyword research wasn’t very good and the articles were poorly written. However, I learned and improved as time went by.
Fast forward to today, I get steady free organic traffic to my website and make recurring commissions from multiple affiliate offers.
I still have a long way to go, but that extra income is amazing to have when in college.
The best form of making money online is earning recurring commissions as an affiliate marketer. That’s simply because you don’t have to deal with the struggles of running a physical business.
If I am able to do it, you are able to do it!
My Tips To You
After spending thousands of dollars on courses and hours upon hours working online, these are the best tips I can give you to succeed online.
- Focus on one thing until you get it right.
- Follow a proven system and create a strategy to achieve your goals.
- Don’t quit. Ever. Especially when you are working and working, but don’t see any results. Push through and be consistent, then you’ll be awarded.
